John Woodtke is known for disciplined execution, strategic foresight, and building systems that deliver consistent results. His career began in manufacturing as a technical project manager, where he developed a strong foundation in quality control, documentation, and process consistency. That operational precision became the backbone of The Woodtke Group and continues to shape its performance standards.
He entered real estate in 1995 with the purchase of his first home and transitioned full time after earning his license in 2007. John quickly became a Top Producer, recognized for preparation, negotiation, strength, and steady leadership in competitive markets.
In 2014, John began his partnership with Zillow, identifying early where the industry was headed. His forward thinking approach positioned him ahead of the curve and laid the foundation for scalable systems that ultimately led to Zillow Partner of the Year, the #1 Zillow Team in the Nation, and the highest conversion rate in the country.
John leads operations, standards, and execution. Alongside his wife and Co Founder, Lyssette Woodtke, he has built an organization grounded in structure and growth. While he drives systems and production excellence, Lyssette leads Growth and Development, strengthening agent capability through training, negotiation strategy, and contract mastery.
Together, they lead with defined roles, aligned vision, and shared standards, setting the tone for accountability, preparation, and performance across the organization.
